DAY 3. Going smooth with this new found fad. Had to make up with my cramming yesterday. So yeah, 3rd day of the year and its raining cats and dogs. I wish it would stop eventually (though I bet it’s not since I overheard on the radio that there’s some LPA approaching the county. DOOMED! HAHA.) God knows how I hate rain. Anyway, just chillin’ around. CHEERS! :)
DAY 4. Let’s suppose this is my life without you… its INCOMPLETE. HAHAHAHA. Cheesy! (ulk.) So there, I’m a bit challenged for today’s entry since I’m having a hard time eyeing for a good subject inside the house. Staying in for like 4 days brought me to some sort of scarcity for a subject to shoot. Anyway, I’m looking forward for a good shoot tomorrow since I’m going out. SCHOOL TIME! ^^,v For now, let’s enjoy the company of some wood and still life.
DAY 5. Oh shoot, I made it before 12am. :’) So there, I crammed again. (Screw me) I thought going out today would boost my appetite to shoot outdoor subjects, however I ended up rummaging again inside the house for things to shoot in the last 20 mins of day 5. Luckily I still made it before 12 so yeah, high five for me. :D LOVE IS IN THE AIR. Lalalalala.. ♥
DAY 6. Today is a very special day. (Sounds too redundant, eh? HAHAHA.) Anyway, my apologies for that, I just can’t contain my excitement after I get ahold of my new nifty fifty. :”> Yeah you’ve read it right; after like months of weighing which things to prioritize with my very limited resources, (poor me. T__T) and taking in mind the Production-possibility frontier (Shoot! God knows how I love Economics. HAHA) I have finally decided to buy a lens over a laptop. I’m trying to concentrate more on reviving my passion at the moment and I think that the laptop could wait. I just need to stir up that burning passion to shoot which I have lost along the course. Anyway, enough of the drama; I am very optimistic that having Primus would help me plod my way to enliven my sleeping desire. Oops, did I just mention his name? HAHA. Okay, I named my nifty fifty Primus. :) The photo is of our dog Filo (awake this time). Thanks to Primus’s super shutter speed. :3
DAY 7. Nothing special today… oh wait, is that Primus? Oh great, today is a special day! :3 HAHAHA. Honestly I’ve been sleeping from 5AM to 12PM, then ate lunch, bathed the dogs (Filo and Windsor), cleaned Hunter (the camera), Orion (18-105mm) and Primus (50mm) then played with them, sleep again, did post pros, went out for some cycling but eventually get lost along the trail for the 2nd time SHOOT! (everyone knows how crappy I am when it comes to directions) luckily I still manage to get home and logged in. The supposed Snow world visit today was canceled because of sudden change of plans… of Jomari alone. Anyway, still favorable for me though since I feel so sluggish today. :))
DAY 8. Not in the mood today. Woke up so late, rain pouring, bad vibes all around. Just playing with focus and bokeh with Primus. Missing someone. Oops, CRAP. :(
DAY 9. The long anticipated OJT hunting scheduled today was canceled. GREAT. :| Woke up so late, cleaned the house, found this artsy mask (Jomari’s entry for their book fair face painting contest in school) and did some shots. Nothing significant happened today. Oh before I forget, its mom’s birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
DAY 10. Almost perfect day in this 10th. Chilled with B.E.S.T, ate street foods which I badly miss, laughed all day and did some evil acts with Gannia. HAHAHA. >:)) On the not-so-positive note, migraine and neck strain keeps pestering me since noon so I wasn’t able to enjoy this day to the fullest. Photo is of Khessy with the flowers she took from Sofitel (sneaky girl! tsk. tsk.) HAHA. So yeah, this post is dedicated to her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KHESSY! :)
Day 11. Despite of the arid weather, cheeky folks, woozy trips, brusque walking under the bashing rays of the sun, mishaps that we encountered here and there; from beginning ‘til the end, we can still say that we enjoyed this awesome experience of OJT 2 hunting. It turned out that luck was not on our side at the moment so we decided to just make the most out of everything from this 11th. Journeyed from ABS-CBN to GMA to TV5 to SM North and lastly to Trinoma where WE (Me, Sheng and Gang) finally found our happiness. :”> Thank you to KFC for providing us a good spot for sight-seeing and satiating our famished senses for what we desire the most. (Pathetic!) Anyway, if blisters were the requital of these, then let it be. HAHAHA. :))) Photo is of Gannia with here “DOOMED!” face after we left the ELJ Communications Center of ABS-CBN. ADVENTURE, It’s more fun in US! :D
DAY 12 Nothing happened today. Slept probably around 5am then woke up at 3pm, crammed the critique papers due by 6pm but ended up procrastinating since I can’t really think properly. I have great hopes though that our professor wouldn’t meet us today, so I decided not finish the papers and just get up and go to school.True enough he failed to attend our class so I’m safe. HAHAHA. (Thank God!) Photo is of Sheng (right) teaching Gannia (left) on how to use an ATM machine. HAHAHAHA. :)))
DAY 13. Friday the 13th wasn’t that bad after all. :D Part 2 of our awesome OJT hunting adventures, Yay! We decided to meet in Gateway at around 1 in the afternoon, waited there for Khessy, ate a lot of chocolates and finally choose to spend some of our precious time in Timezone; played air hockey, trivia game, drop ball and Deal or No Deal. At 3, we leave the mall for more serious action, head to National Broadcasting Network and felt like it’s the perfect place for us (or for me perhaps) to spend my OJT 2 after seeing their receptionist. SHOOOT! :”> HAHAHA. Anyway, it ended up that they have no rooms for us since their OJT slots were reserved just for apprentices from provincial schools. Since our attempt was a FAIL, we just decided to continue our sporadic merrymaking and hit the Quezon City Circle for more fun. We explored the metal thingy in the park, burst into laughter, settled for some coconuts and ice cream, laughed our hearts out and finally head home. The photo is evidently not related with what I blabbed earlier. HAHA. ‘Twas indeed colorful jellies I found inside the fridge that would abridge what I really feel today. Thank you B.E.S.T for another epic adventure! I really can’t contain my happiness so I turned them into these colorful jellies. :”>
DAY 14. Today was just an ordinary day, nothing much happened. Woke up late, ate some veggies for lunch, bond with my brother while hunting down some smelly rodents, ordered pizza for afternoon snack, ate, ate, ate and ate ’til night. CRAP. Photo is a basket of candies for tomorrow’s procession for the feast of Sto. Niño, I guess. Anyway, the moment we put those sweets in the basket we started chomping them down so we’re partly sorry for the kids who will be feasting on them tomorrow.
DAY 15. I’ve been through a lot of torment today. I had to finish my overdue thesis part which I promised to be passed within this week. Gone crazy in computing a lot of numbers from the vague data I gathered from the National Telecommunications Commission and bled in putting those into words. The ambiance inside the house doesn’t make me any good; it just underwrote in the melancholia I’m into. Otherwise, I didn’t let the elvish amount of faith I’m clinging to escape within my solid grasp and still believing that I can finish these papers and make it before 12. Thus, I promise to treat myself when I’m through with these nerve-wracking documents. The moment I discerned an exit point in this menace I’m into, I hurriedly shut down my computer and head straight to the bathroom to freshen up. Grabbed the guitar and sang my heart out to release the anxieties that keep bugging me from within. So yeah, I’m still not okay but I’m a bit recharged from the exhausting experience since yesterday.
DAY 16. I know, it’s seems weird to see a post about Christmas at this point in time. (SORRY) I just use an old photo (screw me!) because I never got a chance to shoot today. Maybe it’s the sudden surge of emotions happening inside me or my mind was too preoccupied, perhaps something really hinders me to think properly and set my mood in its best of complexity. Anyway, the photo is taken back in the province last Christmas for a friend’s homework at school.
DAY 17. Since quitting is only for losers, giving up has never been an option for us. Today’s our 3rd attempt to try our luck in finding a spot for us in the internship realm. We visited two production houses but still failed to get a positive response. Anyway, we were not that wretched with the mishap since we’re enjoying each other’s company; indeed, we are very positive that we will find a virtuous prerogative for us soon. It turned out that today was just another epic bonding moment for us. After the exhausting walk in the highway, we settled ourselves inside the mall for some extreme chitchat. Before going home, we hit the arcade area for some karaoke. Photo is of a satellite tower that we saw along the way. I took this photo just to remind us that whatever hindrances and mishaps we encounter in this quest, we must and we should stand firm and upright to face all these challenges just like this tower. DRAMA? HAHAHA. Just kidding! I just took this photo so I have something to post today. :)))
DAY 18 “Sometimes the most urgent and vital thing you can possibly do is take a complete rest.” -Ashleigh Brilliant Me, Gannia and Sheng agreed to reserve this 18th for a day of full-relaxation as an escape from the very arduous adventures we had encountered in the past few days. We just chilled around the college building and watched some indie film; we laughed, but not that much since the two were a bit down. Well anyway, I still enjoyed this day and am still looking forward for a better future ahead of us. Photo is of Gladys and Frank’s ice cream. Thank you for making me crave while I’m typing this post. HAHA. :))
DAY 19. This one’s for the rough road of thesis revisions tonight. 7 days before the deadline, yet tons of disputes to defer. Still positive, I know we can do it. :) GOOD LUCK THESIS MATES! >:D<
DAY 20 It comes in threes as Gannia would say. Perhaps it’s our fourth attempt in search of an OJT site for our Internship curriculum and both of us were very positive that we will be finding a pot of gold at the end of this long and draining rainbow road. True enough, the face of luck finally spun on our side and last thing we know is that we’re being briefed by these tranquil yet very welcoming people about what true PR is. Nonetheless, we’re very thankful that we could finally start to shear off our 200 hours in this firm to be able to meet the deadline of the application for graduation. Anyway, I just killed two birds with one stone today. HAHAHA. :”> Photo is of a unicorn because I’ve heard that if you wish upon a unicorn, all your dreams will come true. :3 (Though I find it dumb anyway.)
